“Seeing a person’s diabetes gone the very next day with a same-day procedure is truly amazing.”
Dr. Peter Billing is a surgeon whose passion is helping people overcome metabolic disease. As a surgical resident at the Mayo Clinic, he spent two years researching the treatment of diabetes — work that continues to shape his practice, where many patients have resolved their diabetes under his care. He founded Transform to offer a sustainable, long-term path to weight loss.
For Dr. Billing, the greatest reward is seeing people find hope again. Away from the clinic, he's a father of nine — a fact that tends to surprise people — and he spends his spare time reading and hiking.
“Helping our patients achieve wellness and an appearance that reflects who they are is the best part of what I do.”
Dr. Eric Harris is a bariatric, cosmetic, and reconstructive surgery specialist and Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. After completing his surgical residency at the Mayo Clinic and beginning his practice in the Southwest, he has spent more than 20 years caring for patients in the Pacific Northwest. At Transform, his skillset completes the full spectrum of care — everything patients need for a full transformation, in one place.
Dr. Harris describes his patients as strong, resilient, and full of life — and they are the reason he loves his work. Outside the clinic, he plays guitar, savors the Pacific Northwest outdoors, and spends time with his family, grateful to call this region home.
“I started Weight Watchers when I was 7 years old and have been on a lifelong journey ever since.”
Dr. Brogren is board certified in Family Medicine and Bariatric Medicine and has practiced in the Pacific Northwest for two decades. After nearly 20 years of knowing Dr. Billing and seeing his passion for patient care firsthand, she joined Transform because she believes in giving patients many paths to success — and respecting each person's journey.
Her empathy comes from lived experience: she knows the struggle of weight loss personally, which is why helping patients reach their goals is so rewarding. Outside the clinic, she spends time with her husband and daughter, grows and preserves her own food, and completed the Master Gardener's course in 2023.
Dr. Richard Rosenfield has practiced medicine since 2000, completing his residency at Stanford University Hospital before settling in the Pacific Northwest. Widely known for his minimally invasive approach to gynecologic surgery, he has pioneered new techniques in the field and lectured nationally and internationally on outpatient hysterectomy, value-based healthcare, and enhanced recovery after surgery.
Beyond the operating room, Dr. Rosenfield is a business owner and educator who stays active in his community. He loves the outdoors — hiking, skiing, SCUBA diving, and traveling — and spends his free time playing guitar and enjoying life with his children.
